Social

Chair: Matt Decker

Description: The flavor of the fraternity is expressed largely through the social committee. Responsible for all-campus parties, our invite-only Speakeasy parties, paintball excursions, formals, trips to San Francisco, frisbee golf, barbecues and more, social committee is hardcore. Social is what makes fraternity life fun

Rush

Chair: Armando Priego and Neel Murthy

Description: The Rush Committee is in charge of recruiting honorable young gentleman that share our values of diversity, service, integrity and brotherhood. Consider talking to them if you're looking for a different kind of fraternity that doesn't fit the stereotypes.

Scholarship

Chair: Josh Dillon

Description: The Scholarship Committee ensures that the chapter keeps a healthy focus on academics. The Committee encourages brothers to apply for local and national scholarships and organizes events like our bi-monthly faculty dinners.

Community Service

Chair: Mac Sriyanong

Description: The Community Service Committee is responsible for planning and carrying out community service events for the chapter. One of our staple events is our weekly visit to the Food Closet where we help to organize and distribute food to people in need. This year, the Community Service Committee is in charge of making sure that the chapter as a whole carries out at least 1000 hours of community service.

Public Relations

Chair: Andrew Chou

Description: The Public Relations Committee is responsible for staying in contact with the Stanford Community. Feel free to email them to learn more about Phi Psi.

Alumni Relations

Chair: Kiley Trott

Description: The Alumni Relations Committee is responsible for scheduling reunion events such as Homecoming. If you are a Cal Beta alumnus, and you'd like to stay in contact with the chapter or find out what's new, send your questions to this committee.

Speaker Series

Chair: Garrett Hayes

Description: The Speaker Series Committee invites leaders in business from the Bay Area to give presentations to the student population. Last year's speaker was Peter Thiel, Co-founder and former CEO of PayPal. Previous speakers include Jen-Hsun Huang, CEO and Founder of nVidia and Dick Lampman, Head of HP Labs and Executive Vice President of Hewlett Packard.

Pledge Education

Chair: Temo Peranda

Description: The pledge education committee is responsible for explaining the history, traditions, and activities of Phi Kappa Psi to the current pledges. Emphasis is placed on familiarizing the pledges with national practices and policy, describing and promoting chapter events, educating the pledges as to the chapter expectations of them as brothers, and meeting the actives.
